European Patent and Trademark Attorney
Stephan Zeitler studied physics at the University of Augsburg and at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on semiconductor physics, biophysics, and physics of radiotherapy. His dissertation resulted from a cooperation between the Walter-Schottky-Institute and the Siemens AG / Infineon AG, Germany and concerned the characterization of surface emitting laser diodes.
From 1999 to 2003 he worked in the field of simulation, development, and characterization of active and passive optical network components at several companies including Siemens AG / Infineon AG and Corning Cable Systems. In 2007 he was admitted at the German Patent and Trademark Office, in 2009 at the European Patent Office. In the years 2011-2014 he was managing partner at a boutique law firm and was responsible for the fields of electronics, semiconductor and LCD. In 2015 Stephan Zeitler joined our law firm. He became a partner in 2017 and now represents our clients in the technical fields of mechanical engineering, optics and medical technology.
